I want an exercise that is fun and motivates me to do. I want an exercise you can do at home. I want an exercise that will help you lose weight and flatten my stomach. Well, if you feel well, then hula may be the tool for you.

I have found that hula is very addictive. I realize other adults and children feel the same way. Why? Because it's fun. Any activity that brings joy, they tend to want to do. What is even more exciting are the health benefits received from hula hula.

One of the health benefits of hula is that it builds your core muscles in both the abdomen and mid-back. When the core is strong stabilizers, along with stretching the right muscles, your posture will improve. Let me explain. Your core muscles are the muscles responsible for stabilizing your body throughout the day. They play a role in whether you are standing, sitting, walking or lifting an object. Not only your core muscles must be strong, but patience is needed. When the body receives a balance between strength and flexibility, pelvis and shoulders are aligned correctly. Once you can properly align your spine, your posture will improve. Fortunately, the very basic movements, with the hula hoop can be achieved. This includes spinning the hoop around the waist, turn your head and ring in hand.

Another benefit of the hula hoop is not only increase your core strength, it helps to flatten your abdomen. It does not take long to get a cardiovascular workout while hula hula. After about twenty minutes of play with the hula hoop, you start to really burn calories. Like you would on a treadmill, but hooping is fun and motivating. You will lose weight and gain muscle tone banded only. In addition, hooping helps balance your body and cause your muscles symmetrical. It is very important to always ring in both directions.

Like any other exercise program that gradually have to build your training program. While hooping is fun, it is necessary to set time limits and do not overdo the training. I suggest that if you are working very hard to keep the ring and not experience any discomfort, you can start hooping for about ten minutes. Then gradually increase your time each day that the hula hoop. Once you are able to ring more smoothly and easily, you can safely rim for longer periods of time. Can you imagine an exercise program that has to be limited to not overdo it, since it's so funny? Finally, a fun exercise program and very beneficial to strengthen its base, improves posture, helps you lose weight and tone your body.

My intention in creating Hula Hoops is for people to start grooving their bodies. Each hoop is Handmade with lots of care & love. I have been making hoops for about 5 years & love to share the joy of hooping with others.

Over the years I've heard many people say.... I'd love to hoop, but I just can't keep it up. That's probably because they are using a lightweight small kids size hoop which requires much more momentum to keep it up. My adult sized hoops are made bigger and heavier so that they rotate at a slower speed, thus easier to use.
